Delete Your Account

This page applies to the Stocka mobile apps for Android and iPhone (developer: Stocka), the web app and stocka.in. Only the store owner can ask for a store account to be deleted.

1. Send an email from your registered email address to hello@stocka.in with the subject "Account deletion request", including your store name and registered mobile number.
2. We verify that the request comes from the account owner (we may call or send an OTP to your registered number).
3. We confirm by email once your account and data have been deleted.

If you only want to remove a staff login (not the whole store), the store owner can do it any time from Team → Users in the web app. That user loses access immediately; the store's records stay.

Deletion is permanent. Indian tax law may require you to keep invoices and books of account for several years, so download the reports you need (sales, purchase, ledger, GST reports — available as CSV/PDF) from the web app at app.stocka.in first.

• Your owner account and all team member accounts of the store.
• The store profile — name, GSTIN, PAN, address, logo and settings.
• All business records — products, stock, warehouses, customers, vendors, orders, invoices, payments, ledgers and vouchers.
• Uploaded images and any connected WhatsApp session.

• Our billing records for your subscription payments (GST invoices and payment references) — kept for the period required by Indian tax laws, then deleted.
• Security logs (such as IP addresses and login times) — kept for up to 180 days, then deleted.
• Information we are legally required to keep, or need to resolve an open dispute, until that obligation ends.

We complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. Data in backups is overwritten in the normal backup cycle, within a further 30 days.
